I think this AFSCME video is from the 70's. Don't listen to it at work. It's profane, funny and pretty much describes the jobs union members do.

Jesus..... errr... apeman: Only 39% believe in evolution
(NBC's Mark Murray)
And in all honesty, maybe Darwin WAS wrong. Otherwise these intelligent-design jackasses would already be dead.
Today it's not only Abraham Lincoln's birthday; it's also Charles Darwin's.Really? This says so much about America. I don't see what anyone can do to fix this country, or redeem us in the eyes of the world.
And a brand-new Gallup poll tied to Darwin's birthday finds that just 39% of Americans believe in evolution.
As expected, Gallup notes, education plays a big role here: 74% of those with post-graduate degrees believe in evolution. That's compared with only 21% of high school grads (or those with less education) who believe in the theory.
Ditto religion: 55% who don't attend church believe in evolution, versus 24% of weekly churchgoers who believe in it.
And in all honesty, maybe Darwin WAS wrong. Otherwise these intelligent-design jackasses would already be dead.

Joaquin Phoenix made a bizarre appearance on Wednesday night's Letterman to promote his film "Two Lovers," during what may be his last visit as an actor. Phoenix has insisted he is retiring from film to focus on his hip-hop career.
Phoenix was unresponsive for part of the interview, while giving one word answers for other questions.
Phoenix has no sense of humor about Letterman's teasing over his monosyllabic non-answers.
He has an uncomfortable exchange with Paul Shaffer, gets annoyed at the audience and won't even set up the clip from his movie "Two Lovers." That's before he takes the gum out of his mouth and sticks it to Letterman's desk.
Letterman ends the interview with, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight."
It must be seen to be appreciated.
Freakiest.
Interview.
Ever.

Obama eyeballs GOP, makes Loser sign on his forehead
Not really, but check out this quote:
"When it comes to how we approach the issue of fiscal responsibility, again, it's a little hard for me to take criticism from folks about this recovery package after they've presided over a doubling of the national debt. I'm not sure they have a lot of credibility when it comes to fiscal responsibility."ZING!
—Barack Obama, in his first prime time press conference.
And even better - it's logical, accurate and true, 3 things that make it different from things emanating from the Oval Office 2001-2008
So is orange a natural skin color?
Is A-Rod perhaps the greatest Oompa-Loompa player ever?

What race does he check off on government forms? Is "Radioactive" a race?
Here's a screen cap from the Gammons interview, and looking at the Yankees logo, it's clear the color isn't messed up. At least with anything not named Alex Rodriguez.

Oasis put stick in shit; stir it around
Oasis new clip is for the single “Falling Down”. The video’s plot seems pretty clear, as we follow a bright-eyed, luxurious young woman from random people’s beds to random drug dens. Later on, we see the woman putting on a crown, meaning that she’s regal or something, and at a red carpet event Oasis’ Gallagher brothers both snub the woman, hinting that one or both of them got it on with a member of the Royal Family.
How do we know she’s a member of the British monarchy? The final shot is a Gump-esque composite featuring the woman and Prince Charles side-by-side. So while Oasis’ spokesperson says the plot is of Wiz’s own creation, the real question is “Which real-life Princess had relations with one or both of the Gallagher boys?”
The song is a stylistic departure for the Gallaghers. Below is the clip for the first single from Dig Out Your Soul - "The Shock of the Lightning"

Bill O'Reilly plays Chrissy the Hippo
Jon Stewart lays into Bill O'Reilly and his hypocritical views on privacy.
Bill O'Reilly hates paparazzi. He calls them "scum of the earth". He's not necessarily wrong, either. Apparently, however, there's a caveat to that "Constitutionally mandated privacy".
In BillWorld, you're only entitled to privacy if O'Reilly doesn't have a beef with you. If he does, and you refuse to come before him on his program ("kneel before Zod"), then he sends camera crews to ambush you.
And what do we call camera crews that ambush people? That's right, paparazzi.

Steroids shrink your..... vision
So this guy is taking steroids.

Which we've been told are bad, but are apparently worse than we thought. They've messed up his vision and caused him to throw away his family for a 50 year old woman who looks like this...

or is this her? It's getting hard to tell.

Red Kitteh asks: I can has Socialism nows?
(Bob Cesca)
I wonder if Glenn Beck and the other far-right Neo-McCarthyites are willing to give up "socialist" government-run services like:
-Public schools
-Police departments
-Postal service
-Fire departments
-Roads
-Social Security
-Medicare
-The military
-Homeland Security
-The CIA
-The FBI
-The NSA
-The Alaskan Pipeline
-National Parks
-National Historic Sites
Any other pinko services the Republicans would gladly hand over to the finely honed talents of private industries like Blackwater and KBR?
(Newsweek)
We Are All Socialists Now
The U.S. government has already—under a conservative Republican administration—effectively nationalized the banking and mortgage industries. That seems a stronger sign of socialism than $50 million for art. Whether we want to admit it or not—and many, especially Congressman Pence and Hannity, do not—the America of 2009 is moving toward a modern European state.
We remain a center-right nation in many ways—particularly culturally, and our instinct, once the crisis passes, will be to try to revert to a more free-market style of capitalism—but it was, again, under a conservative GOP administration that we enacted the largest expansion of the welfare state in 30 years: prescription drugs for the elderly. People on the right and the left want government to invest in alternative energies in order to break our addiction to foreign oil. And it is unlikely that even the reddest of states will decline federal money for infrastructural improvements.
If we fail to acknowledge the reality of the growing role of government in the economy, insisting instead on fighting 21st-century wars with 20th-century terms and tactics, then we are doomed to a fractious and unedifying debate. The sooner we understand where we truly stand, the sooner we can think more clearly about how to use government in today's world.

New Deal FAIL! errr..... wait..... what? Oh.
DailyKos rips apart the revisionist history being trotted out that the New Deal made the Depression worse.

Oh, but wait..... flip it upside down (like the World Of The GOP) and it becomes true. Roosevelt WAS a failure.
Bastard.
I hope he gets crippled for thi..... oh.
