Is this what the GOP is counting on?

Is the GOP banking on sheer numbers of crazy-as-hell voters a) existing and b) coming out to vote instead of eating Ho-Hos and playing XBox to come out to vote to return them to power?

And does the GOP think that these wingnuts can convince their neighbors with off-the-charts nutsiness like this?

Srsly?

Then there's the President's speech to the Congressional Black Caucus, where he told this story:
"I was up at the G20 -- just a little aside -- I was up at the G20, and some of you saw those big flags and all the world leaders come in and Michelle and I are shaking hands with them," the president said. "One of the leaders -- I won't mention who it was -- he comes up to me. We take the picture, we go behind.
"He says, 'Barack, explain to me this health care debate.'

"He says, 'We don't understand it. You're trying to make sure everybody has health care and they're putting a Hitler mustache on you -- I don't -- that doesn't make sense to me. Explain that to me.'"
As Cesca wrote:
"It doesn't make sense to anyone with a rational mind. The best answer is that the wingnuts love to make loud noises. It's all they've got, and it's no wonder since their leaders are an impotent race-baiter and a googly-eyed paranoiac. How else can a biracial, liberal son of an African immigrant be labeled a "Nazi?"
